Mercury Acquires Kodak Prosper 7000 Turbo

This state-of-the-art inkjet web press is a game-changer for the educational and commercial print sectors, capable of order quantities ranging from 25 to 5,000 with industry-leading quality and efficiency.

Mercury acquired  the Kodak Prosper 7000 Turbo, marking a significant milestone as the first customer globally to install this technology.

Looking ahead to the upcoming year, Mercury is continuing its aggressive growth strategy with the installation of the Canon ProStream 1800. This digital firepower brings critical capabilities to the production floor:

- High-Speed Covers: The ProStream allows covers to be printed on a roll at a much faster rate, a process previously limited to slower sheet-fed methods.

- Expanded Capacity: By moving cover production to the ProStream, Mercury frees up substantial capacity for text printing on its existing lineup of Prosper presses.

- Inline Sheeting: The system includes a state-of-the-art inline Tecnau Revolution Sheeter, ensuring precise handling of a variety of stock choices at 1200 x 1200 dpi quality.
